With the store package 'Facebook / Instagram' you have the opportunity to deliver your music to the music databases of Instagram and Facebook. All you have to do is to select Instagram/Facebook as a store package when creating your release. Your music will then be delivered to the music database of both stores.
Facebook will generate a so-called fingerprint. Facebook users can then pick your music from the music library and add up to 90 seconds of your songs to their non-commercial (live-)video posts. Once a Facebook user uses your music in a video post, even if the song is only running in the background, Facebook detects a match with the fingerprint in the database. Therefore we may contradict the usage of your music in certain videos, that you disapprove of, or block the video completely through Facebook.
Instagram is an ad-supported photo and video-sharing social networking service owned by Facebook. Since 2018 it is possible within the app to add music, which is contained in the Instagram music library, to Instagram stories via the music sticker. If you choose this store, Instagram users can search for your music and choose, which part of a song to play in their story. Both the artist and the title of the song are displayed in the story.
