recordJet will in future provide the technical and administrative services offered via the recordJet.com website through recordJet AG, based in Switzerland.

Therefore, your existing contractual relationships will be transferred to recordJet AG, Museggstrasse 37, 6004 Lucerne, Switzerland, with effect from 1 April 2026 (Section 13 of the Terms and Conditions).

You don't need to worry, as this will not result in any disadvantages for you. Below is a summary of the answers to the most important questions on this topic:

Will my releases, contracts and data remain unchanged?

Yes.

Will there be any changes to contact persons, support languages or service hours?

No, everything will remain the same. The recordJet team will continue to be there for you.

How will my VAT be affected by recordJet's move to Switzerland?

Your net income will remain unchanged. The only change may be to the VAT shown on your invoices and credit notes, depending on your registered country, whether you are VAT-registered and your valid VAT number.

Will my revenue split and payment schedule remain the same?

Everything will remain the same.

Will there be any restrictions on uploads, payouts or support during the transition?

No. Everything will remain as it is.

In which currency will payments be made in future and will there be any additional fees?

Payments will continue to be made in euros and there will be no additional fees. Only VAT will be waived in certain cases (see above).

Where will my data be stored in future and will everything remain GDPR-compliant?

Yes, all data will continue to be stored in accordance with the GDPR. You will receive further information on this in the new privacy policy on 1 April.

Why is this step being taken – and what specific advantages do I have as a customer?

This step is merely a formality; nothing will change for us or you in our regular day-to-day business. The move will put recordJet in a better position for the future and enable it to work on its mission to make music distribution fairer in the long term.
