With Instant Gratification, you can make one or more songs from your album available on iTunes and Apple Music during the pre-order phase—while the rest of the album won’t be available until the official release date. Instant Gratification can be a special incentive for your fans to pre-order your album, as they receive an “reward” in the form of one or more tracks in advance. This is quick and easy to set up, and you don’t need to create a separate release for it. Please note: This feature is only available on iTunes and Apple Music.
With recordJet, you can do this for free:
Create your release as usual by clicking "Create Release," and then, under "Tracklist" -> "Edit," enter the desired date in the corresponding field for the relevant tracks.
Important:
Instant Gratification applies only to Apple Music and iTunes, but not to other stores. Additionally, it can be used for no more than 50% of the tracks on a release.
The selected dates must fall between the advance ticket sales date and the release date you entered in the basic information.
Instant Gratification applies only to tracks shorter than 10 minutes.
