A title version (entered in step 2 when editing a track) must only be entered if it is a different version of a track that already exists as a standard version.

Examples:

  • The title version "Radio Edit" should only exist if there is an original version that is not a radio edit. If there is no original version, then "Radio Edit" becomes the original version and will not be marked as a radio edit.

  • The title version "Piano Version" can only exist if there is a non piano version. If there is no original version, "Piano Version" becomes the original version and does not get an additional descriptor in the "title version" field.

  • The same applies to the title version of an album. "Deluxe Version" can only exist if there is an original version. "Studio Version" is an original version, since almost every song is first recorded in the studio.

Important: Standard or original versions must NOT be marked as such in the "Title Version" field.
