A title version indicates a different version of a track or album of which there is already a standard version. If there is no other version of the track or album, a title version is generally not required.

Standard or original versions must not be labelled in the Title version field.

You can enter the title version for a track in your release under Tracklist > Edit > Extended information > Title version.

You can enter the title version for an album/EP in your release under Basic information > Extended information > Title version.

Examples of valid track title versions:

Radio Edit

Piano Version

Remastered Version

Live Version

Instrumental

2017 Remastered Version

Remix

Examples of valid album/EP title versions:

Deluxe Edition

Extended Version

Live Version

Bonus Track Version

⚠️ Exceptional Cases

  • If a track is labelled as a remix, a remixer must be specified as a collaborator in the extended information of the track.

  • If a track is a live recording, it has to be entered in the title version. The title version can, for example, be labelled Live or more detailed with the location and year/date following to this format: Live at location, year.

  • If an entire album consists of live recordings, this must also be noted in the title version of the album or directly in the album title.

  • In case of remastered versions, the respective year must always be stated first.
