Our team listens to every release and checks if the quality of the recording is right, i.e. that there is no crackling, hissing, etc. - this is purely about the technical requirements, not about our musical taste. Furthermore, the metadata and the cover are checked and the entire release is examined for any rights violations:
Examples of store guidelines we check for:
Total price (too high, too low)
Audio quality
Rights available
Title versions correct (live, remix, cover...)
Duplications
Artist IDs correct or contradictory
Explicit Content
etc.
Once your release has passed our quality check, your ISRCs and GTIN will also be generated if you don't have your own and your release will be shipped. If there are any problems, the quality check team will contact you. Normally the quality check takes up to 48h.
