Profile Information

Customer Number: You can find your customer number in the upper-right corner. The customer number cannot be changed and is assigned once per account.

Account Type: You are free to choose the account type. With any account—whether it’s for an artist, band, or label—you can manage multiple artists, each of whom will have their own Artist Pages in the stores, regardless of the recordJet account selected here. The account type you select is not final and can be changed at any time.

If you've selected the “Label” account type, you can also enter your label's code in the additional “Label Code” field, which would be important for MPN entries, for example.

Artist/Band/Label: Please enter your artist, band, or label name here. This is for general reference only and has no effect on the artist information listed in your releases. If you ever want to change your artist name, you can do so using the following service.

Email: Here you can see the email address currently associated with your account. You'll need your email address and password to access your recordJet account. You can change your email address at any time by clicking the “Change Email” button below. If you've forgotten the login information for your customer account, you can easily retrieve it.

We also use the email address you provided to send you emails (e.g., delivery confirmations, tickets, etc.). Please always contact us using the email address associated with your account so that we can identify your message.

Website: You can enter your website here, if you have one.

Street and house number: Please enter your address here. If this information is missing or incorrect, there may be delays in payouts. Please keep your address up to date at all times. Please note: If you are required to verify your identity at any point during your recordJet membership, you will no longer be able to change your address on your own. In that case, please contact us at [email protected] or via the chat window in the lower right corner.

ZIP code and city: Please enter your city and ZIP code here. If this information is missing or incorrect, there may be delays in payouts. Please keep your address up to date at all times. Please note: If you are required to verify your identity at any point during your recordJet membership, you will no longer be able to change your address on your own. In that case, please contact us at [email protected] or via the chat window in the lower right corner.

First and last name: Please always enter your full first and last name in your profile information. You must enter your real first and last name here—not a stage name. You also confirm that the information is correct by agreeing to our Terms and Conditions. If you wish to change the account holder, please email us at [email protected].

Phone number: Please enter your current phone number here. Using the phone number you provide here, we can quickly access your account if you ever need phone support.

Country: Please specify the country where you live and where you are tax-resident. If you move to a new country, you must create a new customer account. We can then transfer your releases from your old account to the new one. In that case, please email us at [email protected].

GVL rights holder: If you are registered with GVL, you can enter your contract number here.

Automatically add new stores: Here you can choose whether or not you want to automatically add new stores for all your releases. If you check “Yes,” we'll automatically distribute all your active releases to all newly connected stores. You can uncheck this option at any time. In addition, you can always adjust the store selection for each release, even after the fact.

German tax ID number: If you don't have a VAT ID, you can enter your German tax ID here if needed, provided you want it to appear on your credit notes and invoices. Please note: This information does not affect the calculated tax rate. You can find more information here.

EU VAT ID: If you are subject to VAT in the EU, please enter your VAT ID here.

Swiss VAT ID: If you are subject to sales tax in Switzerland, please enter your Swiss VAT ID here.
