Once you have finalized your release and submitted it to us for review, we do a quality check, which usually takes around 48 hours on weekdays. Please allow additional time incase adjustments corrections are required.
Please also note: The release can only be finalised and sent in for review as soon as we have received the money for the release. It can take a few days until we receive the money if you choose Klarna as payment method. Please take this into account if you are aiming for a specific release date and check yourself whether the money has been received and you can therefore finalise the release. Only when you have finalised the release will it be checked and delivered.
After passing our quality check, the release is sent to stores. In theory, it can take up to 2 weeks for a release to become available everywhere. Unfortunately, we have no influence on the individual processing speeds of the stores.
Most stores, however, are much faster: Spotify usually only takes a few working days to put a release online, while Instagram/Facebook, Amazon, iTunes, YouTube and Deezer usually do it within one week.
The stores can best comply with a future release date if you have scheduled it far enough in advance (we recommend at least 2 weeks). If you are planning to pitch your music to Spotify, you'd have to upload your release with the aforementioned notice.
