For the sake of a transparent pricing structure recordJet classifies releases into 3 different categories:

A single has 1-2 tracks.
An EP has 3-7 tracks.
An album has 8 or more tracks.

This information is for your records, so you can easily identify your release with its corresponding pricing category.

Individual stores may use different ways to classify a release. A release which is an EP for recordJet might qualify as album in one store and as single in yet another. Please be aware that recordJet has no influence on how a store classifies an individual release.

For digital publications the length of an album or a track is usually irrelevant. However track durations should be at least 1:30 minutes.
